Lewisham newcomer nayahlone flexes his uniqueness on left-field rap cut 'stratford girl'

His sophomore EP 'top shelf weirdo' is slated for a December release...

Experimental UK newcomer nayahlone is looking to capitalise on the current buzz orbiting him with new single 'stratford girl'.

Building up a name for himself dropping snippets of his music on TikTok, the rising talent's left-field blends of drill, R&B, hip-hop and electronic music makes for one of the most unique sounds we've heard in a while.

'stratford girl' is the follow up to his semi-viral single 'sex on fire' which came out earlier this year. Mining the edges of fellow Lewisham trailblazer Jim Legxacy, nayahlone carves out his own genre-blurring style bold enough to hold its own against the very best in the UK scene.

Despite growing up in a Ghanaian household that placed a strong emphasis on academics rather than music, Nayah defied expectations and pursued his artistic endeavours alongside his university studies and job. During the lockdown period, he seized the opportunity to fully immerse himself in his music, embarking on the creation of his debut EP, "*blink".

With the release of his sophomore EP 'top shelf weirdo' slated for December, this forthcoming body of work promises to set Nayah apart from his peers and delve deeper into his own inimitable style.
