Masego releases new single 'Garden Party', announces his biggest ever UK and EU tour

Kicking off in February 2022, Masego will visit 20 different cities

The newest release from Masego is his single ‘Garden Party’ which features acclaimed Atlanta rappers Big Boi and JID, was teased on Tik Tok with Masego playing the track’s sax riff in a home recording. Masego is a multi-instrumentalist, DJ, singer, rapper and comedian, whose breakthrough track ‘Tadow’ with FKJ, taken from his 2018 album ‘Lady Lady’, reached Platinum in the U.S. He cites 1930s Harlem big bandleader Cab Calloway as a guiding spirit and was mentored by DJ Jazzy Jeff – his own influence is felt far and wide with a sample of his track ‘Navajo’ included on the new Drake album, ‘Certified Lover Boy’.

Releasing music that fits the self-coined subgenre ‘TrapHouseJazz’, Masego has more recently teamed up with Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa for the Amapiano-style reimagination of “Mystery Lady” heard on the Scorpion Kings Remix. And he just announced his biggest ever UK and EU tour kicking off in February 2022, which traverses across 20 cities and culminates at the 02 in Brixton.
