n5316n blends pop, reggaetón, and post-hardcore on intense new single 'XOXO'

Venezuelan-born United States-based maverick Nelson Zavarella - aka n5316n - returns with his first single of the year, 'XOXO'.

Following the release of his sophomore track 'HALCYON' back in November, the underground producer is taking his sound in a totally new direction this time around.

Where his previous single utilised high-energy drum ‘n’ bass progressions to create a dark-edged dance anthem ideal for a basement rave or house party, 'XOXO' veers left into a chaotic, in-your-face post-hardcore sound.

The track serves a real mash up of genres that would typically never be used together, splicing reggaetón with a wave of aggressive punk vocals. In his own words, n5316n's new single “encompasses all the music I love and grew up listening to into one track”.
