Pastiche Shares High-Energy Bop Single 'Calories'

Fresh off being crowned RTE 2FM’s Rising Artist for 2025, Dublin’s alt-pop powerhouse Pastiche is back with a bang. Her latest single, ‘Calories’ - out today - is a vibrant, tongue-in-cheek celebration of self-assurance, sexuality, and pushing boundaries.

Originally envisioned as a dark reflection on body image struggles, ‘Calories’ evolved into an electrifying pop banger, infused with pulsating beats and Pastiche’s signature fearless energy. Produced by Liam Geddes, the track serves as the first taste of her upcoming EP, 'Femme Fatality'  - a deep dive into the complexities of femininity through a glossy, danceable lens.

“I wanted to reclaim a word that holds negative connotations for so many and turn it into something fun and empowering,” says Pastiche. “It’s a metaphor for pushing limits—mentally, physically, emotionally.”

Pastiche is proving to be one of Ireland’s most exciting breakout stars. As anticipation builds for 'Femme Fatality', ‘Calories’ sets the stage for an era of unapologetic, boundary-pushing pop.
