purpl releases heartfelt 'Classic Holographic' EP

The new EP sees the artist even more vulnerable than ever before

There's no greater bond than the one between an artist and their producer, and for purpl, that's quite literal. She made her new Classic Holographic EP alongside her boyfriend zeph, and that lent itself to an innate vulnerability that encompasses the entire EP.

The EP features addictive singles like 'why'd u ghost me', 'Tell All Your Friends', and 'Freezing', but it also includes a handful of tracks that have never been heard before. It opens up with 'Hard to Forget'. The original track had found itself wasting away on a broken hard-drive, unable to be accessed by purpl or any of her collaborators. In honour of the EP, they dug up a demo version of the song and reproduced it into an entire track that kicks off the EP with a heart-throbbing bang.

purpl may have just started releasing music in 2020, but she's already boasted an impressive list of collaborators, including Sky Adams, Lostboy, and Paul Stanborough. She's headlined performances like BBC Introducing live and performed at The Halley X DMY live sessions and The Bristol Takeover.
