underscores Shares New Single ‘Unlimited Love’ with Frost Children Remix

The hyperpop star expands the world of 'U' with a new self-produced double-sided release.

underscores has shared her first new music since the release of her acclaimed third album 'U', unveiling ‘Unlimited Love b/w The Peace (Frost Children Remix)’ via Mom+Pop.

‘Unlimited Love’ expands the sonic world of U, the nine-track record released in March that saw underscores push further into pop while continuing to pull from the disparate sounds that have shaped her work so far. Dubstep, future bass, jazz chords and guitar all feed into the album’s restless palette, which is tied together by a fascination with transience and the bustling spaces of malls, airports and hotels.

As with U, ‘Unlimited Love’ is entirely self-produced, written, mixed and mastered by underscores. The track has already become part of her live show, having been teased throughout her recent sold-out North American headline tour.

The new release is paired with ‘The Peace (Frost Children Remix)’, following the arrival of the original track’s official video earlier this month.

underscores’ GALLERIA tour continues to expand alongside the new music. Following 20 sold-out North American dates in May and June, including shows at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre and New York’s Terminal 5, she’ll return to Los Angeles for a rescheduled show at The Novo on 20 October, with a newly announced Miami headline at Graffiti Warehouse on 4 September.

Next month, she joins Charli xcx’s Music, Fashion, Film North American arena tour as main support across all 12 dates. GALLERIA then heads to Europe and the UK, beginning in Paris on 31 October and concluding at London’s Electric Brixton on 16 November.
