Real Estate - Green Aisles [stream]

New Jersey-via-Brookyln dream-pop group Real Estate’s 2009 self-titled album still sweeps my heart away like a sadness in life. Those feather-like, satiny guitar chords delivered by Matthew Mondanile (from Ducktails); and that sugar-coated, balmy, Pavement-esque voice of Martin Courtney’s! Their Mexican Summer-released ‘Reality’ EP from last year, although doesn’t differ too much sonically, its heartrending mood pieces still don’t cease to impress.

The band are set to release a new album, titled ‘Days’, due out on Domino on 17th October. Green Aisles, as you can stream below, is the second track they revealed from the record. It’s a bittersweet slice of harmonising, ethereal jam – so good it hurts.
