UNTOLD announces first-of-its-kind super festival in Dubai with new world record
UNTOLD just announced a first-of-its-kind mega-festival in Dubai's Expo City, breaking a DJing world record to mark the occasion.
Normally taking place in its stomping ground of Romania, UNTOLD has grown to become one of Europe's biggest party destinations for electronic music lovers. Now preparing its Middle East debut in February 2024, UNTOLD Dubai promises to revolutionise the region's entertainment sector and establish itself as a new jewel in the crown of Expo City.
Going big with its announcement efforts, UNTOLD joined forces with world-renowned DJ Armin Van Buuren and the Burj Khalifa, breaking two world records in the process: one for the highest performance at the top of the tallest building on the planet, and another one for using the entire building as an LED backdrop for the impressive show.
Armin Van Buuren has developed a special relationship with the UNTOLD crowd in Romania over a number of years. Now a poster boy for the festival - and with two new world records under his belt - the DJ is spearheading this exciting new chapter in the UNTOLD story.
"There's an unbelievably strong connection between myself, UNTOLD festival and its fans," says Armin van Buuren. "I don't think I've ever felt as alive as I do on stage at UNTOLD, and that makes this upcoming show at UNTOLD Dubai incredibly exciting. I'm thrilled to be playing atop the Burj Khalifa and look forward to breaking two world records by doing what I love the most: playing music to all the fans that are so precious to me."
The rest of the line up is yet to be announced, however, the festival promises to bring the world's biggest live acts and DJ's to the Middle Eastern city. Stay locked to find out who else will be joining the party in February.
