bar italia drop new single and video 'Nurse!'

Over the past couple of years, bar italia have emerged from the city fog as London's coolest new band. 

Having released two albums, an EP and several singles on Dean Blunt’s World Music label, today, the group release their debut single and music video on Matador Records, 'Nurse!'. 

The new track has been peppering the set lists of their live shows over the last few months along with a number of other unreleased cuts (some of which have since appeared on a limited release CD they were flogging for a tenner at selected gigs).

Now receiving its official release, 'Nurse!' is a head-spinning, abrasive number featuring the mumbly vocals and scratchy instrumentals that the group have become synonymous with. 

You could say the band are doing things the old fashioned way, organically growing a devoted fan base via limited capacity back-alley shows, ticketless cash on the door policies, minimal social media presence and an overall "we couldn't care less whether you like us or not" attitude. They've also yet to do an interview with press. But this enigmatic, inherently avoidant outfit leave the music to do all the talking for them.
