Pitchfork announces New York festival

Pitchfork have added a new festival to their stable of events.

Forms will take place in various New York locations from February 1-4th, 2012. In partnership with NY promoters The Bowery Presents and gaming magazine Kill Screen, the event will explore “the interconnected and growing worlds of independent music, art, and gaming.”

Part music conference, part artist showcase and part video-gaming session, it sounds like a feast of pure geekery. In the best possible sense.

Four-day passes will be available and are due to go on sale soon. Further details, including full lineups and schedules, will be revealed in the coming weeks.
