Hear new material from Evian Christ in his mix for Benji B

After a fast-rising 2012 that saw a collection of YouTube videos uploaded in late December released on vinyl as ‘Kings and Them’ on Tri-Angle in February, Evian Christ is planning the release of his album later this year and made a short guest set for Benji B’s Radio 1 show last night.

In a mix more conventional – though no less atmospheric – than the Soviet radar transmitter-inspired original he made for us, the general mood stays dark and off-kilter with tracks from WANDA GROUP, Vessel and Bandshell; assorted rap picks show some of the source material for his first tracks and it even features a sample of new track from the producer himself.
