Trim with Elijah & Skilliam at Cable

During the third Butter & Hardrive blow-out on Saturday, co-hosts Elijah and Skilliam stepped up to the decks and invited former Roll Deep star Trim to join them for a cameo performance. Supported by frequent collaborator Obese, Trim vibed with the crowd and reeled off some of the most furious and inventive bars in grime over the finest instrumentals. With ten solo mixtapes under his belt and an album on the way, Trim’s wit and lyrical dexterity is well known to most but the sheer force of his delivery live – such a vital part of grime music – is something that should be heard more.
