Dean Blunt - Lit Freestyle

Just because he can, Dean Blunt has dropped a new freestyle called, err, Lit Freestyle.

Clocking in at just over a minute and a quarter, the hazy-eyed new track samples Prefab Sprout's Cue Fanfare, taken from their 1984 album 'Swoon'. Pitched down to a slow, stammering sludge, Blunt repeats the mantra Some obsessions take me back, taking the original's jazzy tones along with him as he goes to meet a weed dealer in Dalston, London. Ahhh, the sweet, sweet songs that cloud your eyes – for Dean Blunt, nostalgia supplies.
