DJ Q feat. Louise Williams - Trust Again

DJ Q has been on form recently, having released some ridiculously large garage and bassline singles at regular intervals (last year’s All Junglist for Unknown To The Unknown was the undoubted highlight) on top of hosting a show on BBC 1xtra that was, until its end last year, the go-to destination for a quick hit of rudeness. To be honest, you might say he’s been permanently on form – he’s been making music for years now, his releases often coming on a weekly basis, and he rarely if ever puts a foot wrong.

One thing that’s always been obvious is Q’s ear for vocal pop music, whether it was his brilliant chart-bothering single U Wot in 2008, his massive Brandy & Coke, or even when turning Gangnam Style into something you might actually want to hear at a club. Trust Again, DJ Q’s new 2-stepper for Local Action, sees the producer at his most melodic, with a euphoric vocal turn from Brit School alumnus Louise Williams, with great crossover-anthem potential.
