Frank Ocean teases Arca remix of Skepta collaboration 'Little Demon'
Synonymous with rare releases, Frank Ocean has become somewhat of an enigma within the musical sphere.
Mining the edges of avant-garde pop and contemporary R&B, the California-born creative has produced a duo of cult status albums in ‘channel ORANGE’ and ‘Blonde’, while seeming virtually unattainable in the four-year chasm between them.
Putting out a small cluster of singles since 2016’s deeply transparent ‘Blonde’, Ocean’s patient fanbase were sent into a frenzy with the release of the single ‘DHL’ last month.
More new music is looking likely as we edge ever-closer to the release of Frank’s rumoured third album: a new Skepta collaboration being the latest number teased to the public via his Beats 1 blonded RADIO show. ‘Little Demon’ has been given a remix by Arca, which premiered at the Halloween edition of Ocean’s newly launched pro-queer club night PrEP+, giving listeners a basic idea of how the huge link up might sound.
