JODY - Floodin

Hot on the heels of Echoes, here’s another smooth-as-you-like cut from emerging Chicago R&B trio, JODY. Floodin once again comes with slick production from The-Drum, built around vocals courtesy of JODY members James King (The GTW) and Khallee Standberry-Lois, playing off one another breezily. Although it may have seemed nigh-on impossible after the cloudy flow of Floodin, the oozing R&B of Echoes raises the sultriness bar even higher. In a honeyed falsetto, they swoon over past infatuations – hanging out in the sunshine and falling “in love with an accent”. If you’ve already been taken in by their seductive sounds, this track also comes with confirmation of a debut EP dropping on the 1st March.
