Premiere: Murlo and Famous Eno - Ariel (Spooky Remix)

The inimitable Spooky has been called in to remix Ariel, Murlo and Famous Eno's lean, light instrumental coming out on Mixpak next week. Whilst the original only brushes against grime, this is a further stripped back 140bpm take on the track, gutting the lush bridging segments for the horns and turning it into a sparse drum breakdown building up to another, larger breakdown. Spooky's less frenetic interpretation still plays with space and shade but makes Ariel better suited for other occasions, specifically as a tool for MCs. His remix is available to stream in the top left player. 

'Ariel' will be released by Mixpak on 20th August.
