The Invisible - The Stain (Illum Sphere remix)

Manchester's Illum Sphere has shared a properly good, previously unreleased remix of The Stain, originally taken from arty rock group The Invisible's 2012 album 'Rispah'.

Illum's take is a bit of moody, grainy techno, stripping away any sense of prettiness or hope from the original. What is left is the bare bones drum pattern, a wonky, percussive groove that moves around an overdriven and ridiculously rigid kick-snare-kick-snare rhythm.
