Weval - The Most (David Douglas Remix)

Here’s Dutch label Atomnation keeping things close with David Douglas’s taking on labelmates Weval’s The Most. Featured on Weval’s debut ‘Half Age’ EP – whose title track we had the premiere of a while back – the original began with floaty cymbal-rushes that matched the artwork’s moon imagery to a tee – before launching itself off into space around padded beats and cavernous handclaps. In David Douglas’s hands the ride becomes rather more bumpy – cranking up the bass and giving the meandering beat more snap and oomph.

Atomnation released the ‘Half Age’ EP on the 19th March.
