Xiu Xiu – Hi

Xiu Xiu, underground pop’s Eeyore, has a new album out in February, and here is the first track from it. jamie Stewart has spent the best part of a decade making uncompromising music that sounds somewhere between Scott Walker and ‘Holy Bible’-era Manics, but for those who like songs about self-harm and Europop, you’re in for a treat. Jamie plays Rich mix in east London on the 16th March.
