ytboutthataction's introspective 'love & vex' EP is about taking risks
Lagos-hailing rapper Adetutu Aderogba aka ytboutthataction returns with her third studio EP 'love & vex'.
After sharing her fiery rap single 'the last airbender' last month, the new EP is a collection of stories and tales of yt's life as she rediscovers herself and digresses from her previous works.
Speaking about the new project, Aderogba says: "It is introspective and transitions a little bit from the hyper-feminine sound I'm used to, into a more rounded, thought-provoking sound. This EP is me exploring my sound even further and taking risks and leaps of faith vocally whilst still maintaining the true essence of what makes me YT."
Touching on important topics surrounding sex-positivity, mental health, and freedom for young women in a patriarchal society, ytboutthataction is on course to make 2023 her best yet.
