Daft Punk release unseen footage of Pharrell hearing 'Get Lucky' for the first time

The video is part of the 10-year anniversary celebrations of ‘Random Access Memories’

Daft Punk have put out some previously unseen footage of Pharrell Williams listening to 'Get Lucky' for the first time.

As part of the 10-year anniversary of Daft Punk’s album ‘Random Access Memories’, the duo have been sharing exclusive interviews and footage from those involved in the project.

In the latest episode of Memory Tapes, Pharrell Williams reflects on the process of making ‘Get Lucky’.

The archival footage shows Pharrell hearing the completed versions of ‘Get Lucky’ and ‘Lose Yourself to Dance'.

Earlier this summer, Daft Punk posted a five-part mini-documentary series on the collaborators who helped to make 'Random Access Memories' the iconic album it has become.

Directed by US cinematographer and director Ed Lachman, the videos were originally captured back in 2013 during the making of 'Random Access Memories' and are now re-releasing the footage to coincide with the record's 10th anniversary.

Episode one features an interview with Giorgio Moroder, who discusses his work on 'I Feel Love', as well as going into detail about his studio time with the French duo, describing them as "perfectionists".

Todd Edwards, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams and Panda Bear each form the focus of the following four episodes.
