DJ Koze ft Caribou - Track ID Anyone?

Peculiar Hamburg producer DJ Koze has made the opening track from his forthcoming ‘Amygdala’ album available for stream. The SoundCloud-comments-thread-baiting Track ID Anyone? is a typically winding affair, with a mournful vocal from Caribou threaded through Koze’s typically deft array of percussion chatter.

Dan Snaith’s just one of a host of collaborators Koze’s snared for a record that features appearances from Apparat, Ghostly International boss Matthew Dear and German rocker Dirk von Lowtzow. ‘Amygdala’ comes eight years after his last full length, ‘Kosi Comes Around’, and joins albums from similarly odd Robag Wruhme and Isloée on the Pampa imprint Koze launched with Marcus Fink in 2009.

Pampa will release ‘Amygdala’ on 23rd March 2013.
