Festivals Roundup: Snoop Dogg headlining Lovebox/ Battles, Caribou and Les Savy Fav to curate ATP

Snoop Dogg will do 'Doggy Style' this summer in London's Victoria Park; join Battles, Caribou, and Les Savy Fav at ATP's Nightmare Before Christmas.

It’s been announced that Snoop Dogg and The Dogg will headline Lovebox 2011, playing the 1993 album ‘Doggstyle’ in entirety. Joining the bill are Kurupt, Daz Dillinger, Warren G, Lady Rage, and RBX, who all contributed to the critically acclaimed album which contains various chart-topping hit singles such as Gin & Juice, (Who Am I) What’s My Name?, Doggy Doggy World.

In addition to the Snoop musical feast on Saturday, Lovebox goers can expect to see Katy B, The Drums, Groove Armada present Red Light, Lykki Li, and Fenech Soler. Hospitality and Mulletover will be hosting stages to include performances from Seth Troxler, Art Department, Motor City Drum Ensemble, FLoating Points, Appleblim, Sebo K, Mark E, High Contrast, David Rodigan, London Elektricity, Danny Byrd, Starkey, Sigma and many more.

On Friday you will find Flying Lotus (live), Hudson Mohawke (live), Metronomy, The Wombats, Example, and Beardyman. Plastic People clubnight FWD>> and Rinse FM are co-hosting an arena where Skream, Roska, Kode 9, Roll Deep, Ms Dynamite, Zinc and many more will play. Relentless will curate their own Relentless Energy Drink stage, collaborating with Ed Banger (and Hospitality on Saturday) to deliver performances and sets from Busy P, Carte Blanche, Sebastian, Uffie, and Cassius.

Further down the lineup, on Sunday, 2 Many DJs, Scissors Sisters, Blondie, Robyn, Kelis, Marc Almond, Azari & III, Hard Ton, Horse Meat Disco, Tensnake, Planningtorock, Feral aka Mc Kinky and many more are all on the bill.

Meanwhile, All Tomorrow’s Parties unveil their second festival for December 2011 at Butlins, Minehead. Battles, Caribou, and Les Savy Fav will headline and curate a lineup of 14 artists for one day of the festival. (Les Savy Fav on 9th December, Battles on 10th December, Caribou on 11th December) In total, the lineup will feature 45 live acts playing across the weekend on three indoor stages with a total festival capacity of around 5500 people.

Tickets for Nightmare Before Christmas curated by Battles, Caribou & Les Savy Fav are priced at £170 each for room only and £180 for self catering and go on sale this Thursday 3rd March at 5pm via www.atpfestival.com
