Hyetal readies debut album

Stream a new track from the forthcoming album by the Bristol-based producer.

Hyetal (one half of Velour) caused quite a stir last year with his track Phoenix via Orca. This year, he returns with a new single ‘Diamond Islands’, and announces his debut album ‘Broadcast’.

‘Diamond Islands’ is the lead single from Hyetal’s debut album ‘Broadcast’. It features vocals from Alison Garner. Hyetal spoke about the production of this track, “It wanted to make something stripped back, so most of its just Ali, sub bass, a drum machine and this weird atmosphere. When i wrote it i was listening to ‘Garlands’ by Cocteau twins and really stripped back Hip Hop beats.” Upbeat, jackin’-electro-reaching-into-house DJ/ producer Boddika provides a remix of the track on the b-side.
