Kilo Kish - Creepwave (feat. Flatbush Zombies)

The fleshed-out version for this deep cut from the NY rapper provides a first listen to her forthcoming mixtape 'K+'.

The demo for Kilo Kish’s Creepwave that we heard back in September built a teasing two minutes of tension – the kind of track you had to hit replay on a good few times before really getting your fix. Fortunately, Kilo has obliged with a beefed-up version, which peppers the production with far-off voices and trudging, ominous footsteps. The Flatbush Zombies turn up at the end for a couple of characterful verses, but it’s Kilo’s half-rapped, half-spoken delivery – full of sweetness but instantly able to flip to sour – that lingers after it’s done.

Creepwave will feature on Kilo Kish’s forthcoming ‘K+’ mixtape of collaborative efforts including turns from Earl Sweatshirt, Childish Gambino, SBTRKT, and A$AP Ferg. ‘K+’ will be released 7th February 2013.
