Kindness, Joakim and Jam City are releasing a single together

Kindness and Joakim have teamed up for the new collaborative project Everyone, and Jam City will appear on their deep house debut in February.

Pop’s cleverest star Kindness and Tigersushi boss Joakim have joined forces to form the collaborative project Everyone, and on their debut 12” No Time To Waste, the infamous Vincent L’Traques aka Night Slugs’ Jam City has lent his 909 expertise. The release is set for a February outing on Joakim’s new vinyl-only Crowdspacer imprint.

You can preview the track over on Rush Hour in the form of a vocal mix, an instrumental, “beats” (self-explanatory), and a “beatless” version (which is completely silent). The track itself is a strong, Chicago house-rooted club roller, with handclaps thrown in for good measure and warped whistles.

The label was named in honour of the famous CRWDSPCR dance performances of avant-gardist Merce Cunningham. A celebration of the ritual of dance throughout history, in the words of head honcho Joakim Bouaziz the label will embody “dance, sweaty clubs, techno primitivism, trans-gender house, tropicalist trance, mutant disco, fun avant-garde, timeless futurism, the body & soul.”
