Premiere: Bastien Keb - 'Pick Up'

Multi-instrumentalist Bastien Keb has dropped the enchanting visuals for new track, 'Pick Up'. His new LP, '22.02.85', was initially conceived as a concept album about a stripper lost in the city at night, with the video capturing that theme with a distinctly steamy, urban and nocturnal vibe.

Audibly, 'Pick Up' itself is also brilliant – dripping with a funk-fuelled guitar bass line and infectious trumpet-led hook, it befits the cinematic direction of the video. All in all, 'Pick Up' highlights why Keb has been earmarked by Gilles Peterson as "a truly original talent" and illustrates why he's one of the most exciting musicians emanating out of London at present.
