The xx are playing some very special headline shows next summer

The UK trio will curate three 'Night + Day' events in Lisbon, Berlin and London's Osterley Park.

Hot on the heels of being named in Dummy’s top 20 songs of 2012 for Fiction from their second album ‘Coexist’, The xx have announced a series of three curated events for summer 2013. The ‘Night + Day’ events will take place in Lisbon, Berlin and a 10,000 capacity lavish country estate in London (details on the flyer below), which will be the band’s biggest UK show to date. Speaking on the events, The xx said:

“Night + Day is a series of events, curated by us, to start in the summer of 2013. We searched high and low for unique and beautiful locations to stage these shows and picked the artists that we most respect and admire to join us. The events will run from early afternoon, with some of our favourite music (and food) to take you from day into night.”

Tickets for the event will go on general sale on The xx’s website on Friday 14th December, with a pre-sale available on Thursday if you sign up to the mailing list before 8pm tomorrow.
