Youth Music's Incubator Fund announces grants for music industry businesses and collectives

The second round of funding is open for applications until the 5th February

Applications are open for a second round of funding by Youth Music’s Incubator Fund.

The first round of recipients for the charitable organisation’s fund included London station No Signal Radio, Bristol digital broadcaster Noods Radio, jazz outfit Ezra Collective, plus labels Black Acre and Saffron Records, and the UK-based, rap-focused video channel Link Up TV.

The fund offers grants of £5,000 – £30,000 to music industry employers, and is designed to provide support with wages as well as helping organisations to become more diverse and inclusive moving forward.

A new report by Youth Music, titled How COVID-19 has affected youth music-making, found that organisations have “significant concerns about the funding landscape as we emerge from Covid.”

Applications close on Friday 5th February, and you can apply here. In addition, this blog post contains information about how to write a strong proposal.
