Nines recreates legendary rap records from across the decades in 'Clout' visuals

The video pays homage to the likes of Snoop Dogg's 'Doggystyle', Dizzee Rascal's 'Boy In Da Corner', 2Pac's 'All Eyez On Me' and more...

Sharing the first slice of his recently announced ‘Crabs In A Bucket’ project, Nines has returned with a new single and video for ‘Clout’.

Directed by Charlie Di Placido and Nines himself, the visuals recreate some of rap’s most prestigious album covers over the last 30 years, swapping in the Harlesden rapper to strike up the iconic poses.

Woven intricately in sync with the track’s production, the video pays homage to Snoop Dogg’s ‘Doggystyle’, Dizzee Rascal’s ‘Boy In Da Corner’, 2Pac’s ‘All Eyez On Me’ and Jay Z’s ‘The Blueprint’, as well as nodding to albums from 50 cent, Big Daddy Kane, Dr Dre and more.

The single itself also stands as welcome reminder of Nines’ lyrical panache, smoothly switching between flows with a refined style that has come to be expected over the years.

New project ‘Crabs In A Bucket’ is available to preorder here.
