Brian Eno to programme Norwegian festival Punkt

Ambient composer Brian Eno will take time out from his usual musical genius duties to be curate Norway’s Punkt Festival in 2012, it has just been announced. As artistic director, he will put together the line-ups for all 18 concerts over the three-day festival. “He visited Punkt in 2008 with the audiovisual installation 77 Million Paintings for Punkt, and now he will bring some of his favourite artists to Punkt 2012,” said Punkt via their press release. Lineup details have not been announced, we’ll let you know when we do.
