Premiere: Jumping Back Slash 'The Siren's Call' ft. Nonku Phiri

Dummy host COTCH INTERNATIONAL's debut release of "innovative, globally minded and visceral music " in the form of Jumping Back Slash's 'The Siren's Call'.

COTCH are fresh out of Peckham's strong, underground music scene, aiming to introduce audiences to global sounds through their new label and their monthly club nights at Rye Wax. COTCH begin their manifesto by releasing the visuals to Jumping Back Slash's 'The Siren's Call'  – a downtempo R&B production featuring slick vocals from South African vocalist Nonku Phiri that brings together a variety of sounds emanating out of the burgeoning South African electronic music scene.

UK-born Jumping Back Slash has spent ten years cultivating his sound by immersing himself in the South African Mzansi scene, collaborating with a variety of the countries' most forward-thinking musicians such as Spoek Mathambo, Fantasma, Okmalumkoolkat and Big Space. With distant glimmers of Gospel and alt-pop, as well as rhythmic nods towards Gqom, Kwaito and Pitori House, 'The Siren's Call' is a rich and stirring track from JBS's new EP, and the tantalizing visuals perfectly resonate with the track's sonic structure.
