RBMA moves to New York

New York, the American city with tall buildings that made rap, punk, disco and art-rock, is to host the next Red Bull Music Academy.

The annual music school started in Berlin in 1998, and has since visited London, Sao Paulo, Madrid and many more cities around the world. Every year, they visit a city and build some studios, in which around 60 young musicians learn how to be even better at making music. There is also a great lecture programme featuring lots of big names talking about tracks, which is always a highlight of the year for the vast majority of the music-into population who aren’t at the academy.
