Silkie - Xfm mix

It’s a good month in terms of news from Silkie. Not too long ago, he did a mix for Fact that consisted of only his own tracks, and it was some pretty serious rave material. As one of the west London’s Anti-Social Entertainment collective (alongside Conquest, Kromestar, V.I.V.E.K, Jay5ive, Razor Rekta, Underground Ice, Harry Craze and Mizz Beats) the dubstep producer has released his second LP ‘City Limits Volume 2’ on Mala’s Deep Medi. Now, the podcast he did for Mary Anne Hobbs’s first primetime Xfm show two weeks ago is now available to stream online. This mix once again draws heavily from his own production; it includes eight Silkie tracks, in which two of them are collaborations with Nolay and Von D, and Benga’s 2010 tune Descending.
