Aminé shares 'Compensating' featuring Young Thug, announces new album

"It’s something I’m really proud of and something I’ve been putting a lot of effort into for the past two years"...

Portland rapper Aminé has announced he’s on the verge of dropping third studio album ‘Limbo’, and to get fans warmed up for the project he’s shared a brand new track featuring Young Thug.

‘Compensating’ continues a steady flow of releases for the 26-year-old already this year, whose genre-stretching hip-hop cut ‘Shimmy’ and Rihanna-tribute ‘Riri’ placed him in a strong position to dominate the rest of 2020 with his newly-declared work.

Meshing together the infectious melodies of two artists in potent form, Thug and Aminé combine on the bouncy T-Minus production to create a laudable vibrant sound.

The track marks the second collaboration Aminé has recently worked on after a feature on Disclosure’s ‘My High’ with slowthai.

Dropping August 7, newly announced album ‘Limbo’ looks to follow on from the 2018 ‘OnePointFive’ record and is expected to incorporate his recent releases as well as a variety of fresh material.

Speaking about the new project to Bandwagon, Aminé stated: “It’s something I’m really proud of and something I’ve been putting a lot of effort into for the past two years.

“I haven’t really gone this in-depth with my music in a while, so it feels good.”
