Genre-bending Belgian acts team up for an explosive collaboration

Belgian hip-hop duo blackwave. and alternative dance veterans Compact Disk Dummies have joined forces for a scorching new single, 'Fire!'.

This unexpected collaboration blends the best of both worlds, bringing together blackwave.’s polished rap style and the Dummies’ electrifying ‘French touch’ dance beats.

'Fire!' is the result of the two genre-defying groups setting aside competition to create an energetic anthem that combines elements of electronica, disco, house, and hip-hop. The release comes ahead of their highly anticipated showdown at the Red Bull Soundclash in Antwerp on 7th November.

The Soundclash, set at the Lotto Arena, will see the two bands face off on opposite stages—one blue, one red—in a live battle that’s as much about musical prowess as it is showmanship. “'Fire!' is exactly what the name says: a hot and explosive coming together,” the artists shared, hinting at the intense rivalry and respect fuelling this collaboration.
