Confidence Man Are Back With Rave Heater 'Young London'

Get ready to hear it across clubs and stages all through the summer.

Confidence Man have shared explosive new single ‘Young London’, an bass-bursting anthem that continues the Australian outfit's deep dive into the rave-inspired sound of their recent 'Active Scenes Vol One' era.

Premiered during the band's packed Active Scenes takeover at Love Saves The Day earlier this summer, the track quickly became one of the festival's most talked-about moments, with fans flooding social media demanding an official release. Built around pounding percussion, infectious hooks and the group's signature tongue-in-cheek swagger, ‘Young London’ also samples the opening dialogue from the video for Bomb The Bass' 1988 classic ‘Say A Little Prayer’, reworking a hidden piece of dance music history into a peak-time club weapon.

Speaking about the release, Confidence Man said: "Life is short. Life is sweet. Enjoy it while ya got it and shake it til ya dead. This is the spot. This is the sound of young London. Bomb the bass with a brand new jam."

The single arrives amid another huge summer for the group, who recently brought their celebrated live show to Governors Ball in New York and WeHo Pride in Los Angeles, before reuniting with JADE onstage for a surprise performance of their collaborative hit ‘gossip’.

Away from the main stage, masked member Reggie Goodchild has continued to expand the band's club-focused Active Scenes project, taking over venues including Glasgow's Sub Club, Ibiza's Pikes and AVA Festival, alongside standout appearances across Glastonbury's nightlife programme and New York's Downlow.

With festival performances still to come at Maiden Voyage, Lost Village and Hard Summer, plus a support slot with Sammy Virji at Colorado's iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre later this year, Confidence Man show no signs of slowing down. Following a string of BRIT, ARIA and Beatport Award nominations and wins, ‘Young London’ arrives as another irresistible reminder that few acts are capable of turning dance music into such gleeful, high-energy chaos.

'Young London' is out now.
