Confidence Man Drop Sexy New Single 'Let Them Bells Ring'
Confidence Man's new single, 'Let Them Bells Ring', is a Balearic-inspired piano house bop with squelchy basslines and a made-for-the-club beat.
The band find the early hours of the morning to be a peak hour for creativity, so much so that it's even inspired the title of their upcoming, 90s and 00s rave-inspired album, '3AM (LA LA LA)', due on 18 October.
They explain: “We were really feeling ourselves when this one came together around about 3am. We wanted to get a little creepy, but like, in a hot way. Kinda what we do best. By the time it was finished we knew it was perfect for the fabric mix”.
The track is an original cut from their upcoming 'fabric Presents Confidence Man' compilation, alongside 'BREAK IT DOWN (ON THE BASSLINE)' featuring IN2STELLAR, which came out last month. The in-your-face mix for fabric accumulates all the inspirations of their new chapter; dancefloor bangers that often feature in their own DJ sets as well as new tracks from their friends within in the electronic scene, namely Joe Goddard, Joshua James, Mona Yim and The Emanations.
Speaking on the mix, Confidence Man explains: “The mix was a bunch of songs that we’ve been playing at parties and DJ sets etc combined with a bunch of older tunes we’ve loved for ages. Also a bunch of tunes sent thru from friends we also dig. We're tryin to make something we’d love to dance to”.
The Aussie party starters have recently moved to London and played a packed-out set at Glastonbury. After hitting up the likes of Reading & Leeds later this month, in October, the pair will jet off to Oz for a run of headline shows, before touring the UK in November and December.
'Let Them Bells Ring' is out now.
