Killawatt - Press On/Tantra

Killawatt returns to the Kryptic Minds-helmed Osiris Music in March, with a brooding low-end workout indebted to the early sounds of FWD>>. This is the Southsea-based producer’s second release this year, and it seems the enviable work rate that characterised his 2012 output shows no signs of abating.

Osiris have made the entire EP available for stream below, two sides of speaker-shuddering sub-bass peppered with pipe clangs and echo taps trailing into the ether. It all smacks of Pinch’s early output, and just goes to show that dubstep’s still got a fair amount of creative juice left to squeeze.
