Mucky Pup Share Second Single, 'Entry Is Free'

An immersive, summer-ready release

Funky dance duo Mucky Pup have returned with the new single 'Entry Is Free', a follow-up to their debut 'Brushing off The Dust' from last year.

Straddling funk, house and pop, 'Entry Is Free' features tight, club-ready beats, tinkling synths, saxophone and Heidi's rich, soulful vocals. Despite feeling bubbly and energetic, Mucky Pup wanted the track to have an underlining sense of eeriness to it. On the song, Heidi describes a mystical dreamland where visitors are captivated by its wonder.

“When making the track we wanted to try and create something that felt like a dimensional experience to the listener. We wanted the audio to coincide with and mirror the premise for the song," the pair explain.

Mucky Pup is the project of acclaimed producer and multi-instrumentalist Erik Miles (producer and engineer for the likes of Soft Play, Baby Dave (Isaac Holmann), Kate Nash, Lady Bird and Hotwax) and vocalist Heidi Haswell (guest vocalist for Soft Play and Baby Dave). Together, they create delightfully danceable tracks that shapeshift constantly throughout.
