New Music: Henry Green - Another Light

One listen of Henry Green and you're immediately sunken in. Mixing delicate vocals and woozy, fuzzy electronics, the result is a sound both subtle and cinematic that combines intimate, confessional songwriting with his burgeoning sound. The 22-year-old will release his debut album Shift on March 30th via Akira Records and has shared a taster with 'Another Light'.

Icy synths dominate proceedings, and the innocence in Green's lyrics soon evolve into sophisticated wordplay that shows a maturity beyond his age. It sets up perfectly for the album, which we are more than looking forward to. Green will tour later this year in support of the album, with a headline London show already announced for Corsica Studios on May 3rd – more live dates will be announced soon.
