Ayshay – WARN-U (Nguzunguzu remix) [MP3]

Bass-driven duo Nguzunguzu have taken the title track, WARN-U, from Ayshay’s soon-to-be-released debut EP and filled it to the seams with steely, skittering beats.

Ayshay, whose real name is Fatima Al Qadiri, is an exciting new talent who has paid homage to the sounds of sacred Islam songs in her debut, purely by filtering and layering her own voice to create haunting a capella tracks like WARN-U. Nguzunguzu has created a 12 minute “megamix” of the tracks on the debut EP, four minutes of which represent the title track – you can listen to it here.
