Paleblu's 'Belong' Is a Pre-Summer Heater

It's the first single from his upcoming EP 'Daisies'

Paleblu is embarking on a new chapter with the first single to be released from his forthcoming EP, 'Daisies'.

Blending indie with jungle and drum and bass influences, 'Belong' feels fresh, and lands just in time to build excitement for the pending festival season.

Warm, jazzy trumpets and pacy breakbeats open the track, creating a summer ambience that evokes scorchingly hot days cooled by passing breezes.

Exploring the notions of identity and personal exploration, the new track reflects on Paleblu's (aka Ryan Gonsalves) experience navigating life in the cultural melting pot of London as a mixed heritage individual.

The introspective nature of the record is indicative of the material elsewhere on 'Daisies', where Paleblu examines mental health and self-care.

A writer, producer, MC, engineer and singer/songwriter, Paleblu has been creating music from an early age, he built a name for himself performing as an MC across a network of drum and bass nights in London before releasing his own music. Last year, he released his debut solo EP, 'lately, the feels ain't been there', the beginning of his new era of raw, emotive UK indie fused with drum and bass and jungle sounds.

Paleblu is set to celebrate the release of 'Daisies' with a headline show at The Hackney Social on 29th March.
