Premiere: Howling - Shortline (Hauschka Remix)

Removing the rattling sub-bass and guitars and replacing them with atmospheric piano chords overlayed with drums that build and release repeatedly throughout the track, German pianist and composer Hauschka takes Howling's Shortline to a completely different place. 

Howling comprises of producer Ry X (also one third of The Acid) and one of Innervision's bosses, Frank Wiedemann. The Hauschka remix comes from the title track of their 2013 EP Shortline. Last month, the duo released their debut album Sacred Ground through Modeselektor's Monkeytown Records. 

The duo will be embarking on a few festival dates starting next month, including a set at London's Lovebox Festival on the 18th July. Check the tour dates below:
