Ryder Unleashes ‘WTF' Ahead of Debut EP
Rising UK producer Ryder is back with a bold new single that showcases his genre-blurring production style.
The 20-year-old talent enlists Luton-based rapper BXKS for the bass-heavy ‘WTF’, a club-ready banger laced with Brazilian funk influences.
Co-produced with Leon Jean-Marie, Ryder continues to push sonic boundaries, effortlessly shifting between BPMs and textures. ‘WTF’ is designed for pure dancefloor chaos—“When people hear that, they just go mad,” Ryder explains. ‘I Been,’ crafted when Ryder was just 17 in a hotel room in Albania, proves his forward-thinking approach was ahead of its time.
Ryder’s meteoric rise is nothing short of remarkable. His #skeptacore series—a fusion of Skepta’s iconic bars with jazz, garage, and experimental beats—took TikTok by storm, racking up millions of views and catching the attention of the grime legend himself. This led to ‘48 Hours,’ an EP created in just two days with Skepta and Dré Six, earning over 50 million streams and critical acclaim.
With a debut EP on the horizon, DJ sets alongside Shortee Blitz, and a distinctive style that refuses to be boxed in, Ryder is cementing himself as a game-changer in the UK’s electronic underground scene.
'WTF' is out now.
