Ghetts and Skepta have collaborated for the first time in history on 'IC3'

The landmark track is a powerful reflection on the Black experience...

Ghetts and Skepta have teamed up on the ice-cold ‘IC3’.

On the track, the pair reflect on their experiences as Black men and musical pioneers, with ‘IC3′ being the term used by the police to describe Black people, and its release is timely with it currently being Black History Month.

“Don’t tell me go back where I came from / While the Queen sits there in stolen jewels,” Ghetts says during a verse.

The two MCs have never made a song together but have appeared on several sets together, and even clashed at times.

The track follows Ghetts’ ‘Mozambique’ cut with Jaykae and Moonchild Sanelly, a track also taken from his forthcoming album on Warner.

Skepta plays one of our Dummy Live streaming shows this Friday – find tickets here.

Elsewhere in the world of grime, Chip put out two fresh sends for Stormzy last night.
