Sways drops smooth new single and video for 'Sweet One'

UK rap scene riser Sways is the latest act to join our DMY Artists family. Boasting an infectious blend of ambient sonics, his buttery lyrical flow has allowed him to stake a claim for a strong position in the rap underground right now.

Returning with ‘Sweet One’, Sways delivers a melodic cut characterised by meandering synths and sparsely-layered drum patterns. The South Londoner’s flow bleeds elements of some of the UK’s top artists while at the same time staying unquestionably unique – it’s unsurprising to hear that the rapper was brought up in a household submerged in hip-hop and grime.

Releasing his latest single alongside a new video, Sways can be found nestled among some lush greenery while the stripped back visuals let the lyrics do the talking.
