vi0let pens a letter to her younger self in soul-bearing new single 'Heat'
Irish-raised artist vi0let opens up about the experiences of girlhood and bullying in her new pop song 'Heat'.
The rising singer-songwriter has been having a great run of releases so far this year, following up her 2022 debut EP with 'Dreams', 'Lonely' and 'Psyche'. Moving from the pebbled beaches of Brighton to the inner-city hue of the UK capital has sparked a new lease of creativity in songstress, who has updated her R&B sound with flavours of pop, electronic dance and soul.
With heavy-hearted lyrics and angelic vocals, the London-based songstress expresses a vulnerable part of her past as she sings to her younger self. vi0let describes the new track as a “big warm hug to the inner-child in all of us," using her past struggles as an open diary to help people relate to their own
experiences.
The track is accompanied by a one-shot music video filmed by Sorin D Visuals.
