Django Django - First Light

Scottish-hailing four-piece return with a ripping new single, preceding their second album this spring.

Django Django are back with a new single, First Light.

It's been a little bit since we heard from Django Django. The Scottish-hailing psych pop band's debut album received heaps of praise, a Mercury Prize nomination, and a ridiculously busy touring schedule.

Since then we've only had one new song – a cover of The Monkees' Porpoise Song for their Late Night Tales compilation – but First Light marks the four-piece's return, preceding a new album in spring this year. The technical craft of their songwriting is sounding sharper than ever on First Light, and the song comes with the added bonus of a seriously rumbling bassline.

The song is out right now – either digitally or as a limited white label 12" from their website.

Django Django will be playing a couple of dates next month to warm up for a return to live performance, tickets for which can be bought here.
